THE KITCHEN OF GIOVANNI PASCOLI

Description

Casa Pascoli was severely damaged during the Second World War, for which reason has been restructured to restore the original structure, there is one room that has remained intact, however, and presents itself to visitors as it was during the 'poet's childhood, the kitchen.

It retains the old wooden beams of the ceiling, large fireplace and stone sink and is enriched with utensils and furniture. On a bulletin board are also exposed some small items that belonged to the mother of the poet.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30 to 12.30 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. (in summer 4 to 7 p.m.).
