Did you know that the name of the Ferragosto holiday comes from the Latin "feriae Augusti" (rest of August), in honor of Octavian Augustus, the first Roman emperor, from whom the month of August takes its name? It was a period of rest and celebrations, established by the emperor himself in 18 BC. The Riviera is getting ready to celebrate this summer holiday in grand style. From August 12th to 15th, a series of exciting events will invade San Mauro Mare, involving tourists in a unique experience. Here's the program for the week:

🎆 Saturday 12th: Foam Party and DJ Set - Parco Campana will become the perfect setting to dance and have fun amidst sparkling bubbles. (9:00 pm)

🎆 Sunday 13th: Il Mare a Teatro Pellicole in Musica - at the Arena Arcobaleno thanks to the "Amici della Musica" band, the soundtracks of the most famous films will come to life, transporting you to a world of emotions and memories. (9:00 pm)

🎆 Monday 14th: MA.MA in concert - get ready to dance and sing along with them, giving your Ferragosto a unique soundtrack.

🎆 Tuesday 15th: The most anticipated day of the year has finally arrived, and San Mauro Mare offers you a rich program of events to make your Ferragosto absolutely unforgettable.

The morning will begin with a sunrise concert on the beach at Bagno Delio (6:00 am).
In the afternoon, three DJ sets and live music will liven up the streets of the town center.
The evening will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks show on the beach, creating an explosion of colors and emotions (23:30pm).
